Policies

1. Ordering & Lead Time

Custom orders require a minimum of three weeks’ notice. Orders requested with less than three weeks’ notice may be accepted based on availability and will be subject to a $20 per dozen rush fee.

2. Quotes & Booking

Submitting a Request a Quote form does not guarantee availability or reserve your date. Your order is considered confirmed once the quote has been approved and the required payment has been received.

3. Payment Terms

Full payment is due upon receipt of your invoice unless an alternative payment date has been agreed upon and is specified in your quote. Your order and date are not considered confirmed until payment has been received.

4. Refunds & Order Concerns

Because our products are made to order, all sales are considered final. Refunds are not generally offered; however, if you are completely dissatisfied with your order, please contact us promptly so we can review the concern and determine an appropriate resolution.

5. Pickup & Delivery

Local delivery is available within a 30-mile radius for a $30 delivery fee. Delivery availability and timing are confirmed when your order is booked. Pickup details will be provided with your order confirmation.

6. Custom Designs

Custom designs are welcome! Customers may provide inspiration photos, themes, color palettes, or other ideas to help communicate their vision.

Because each order is handmade, finished designs may vary slightly from inspiration images. Custom designs, specialty finishes, and additional detailing will be reflected in the final quote.

7. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

Stirring Up Sweets is not a nut-free kitchen. Our products may come into contact with common allergens, including peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, wheat, and soy. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free product.

Please disclose all known allergies or dietary restrictions when submitting your inquiry. Customers with severe allergies should use their best judgment when ordering.

8. Product & Color Variations

Our desserts are handmade and may have slight variations in color, shape, size, placement, and finish.

Colors may also appear differently depending on lighting, photography, and individual screens. While we make every effort to match approved colors and designs as closely as possible, exact replication is not guaranteed.

9. Cottage Food Operation

Stirring Up Sweets operates as a registered Class A Cottage Food Operation through Orange County Environmental Health. Our approved cottage-food products are prepared in our permitted home kitchen in accordance with California’s Cottage Food program.

10. Flavor Availability

Flavor selections are subject to availability and may change seasonally. Not all flavors are available for every product. Current flavor selections can be discussed through the Request a Quote process.

11. Final Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are starting prices for standard offerings and finishes. Custom designs, specialty flavors, fillings, colors, quantities, and additional detailing may affect the final price.
